Our Chris was a loving dedicated father, husband, son, brother, and friend.  On June 2, 2014 he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Signet Ring cell mucinous adenocarcinoma of the appendix. After traveling the country, an unimaginable surgery, and unsuccessful chemotherapy, he lost his battle just eleven months later May 8, 2015 at the young age of 36. He is smiling down on all of us today knowing that we will not forget him or the many lives affected by or lost to Signet ring cell cancer. He would be proud knowing we are not just standing by, but putting up a fight against this rare and aggressive disease.
