My dad- Yick Yuen Wong was born on August 15, 1928 and passed away from colon cancer on
December 1, 2002. He was 74 years old.
His greatest joy besides his family is watching his Chicago sports teams. He would have loved to see the Chicago Cubs win the World Series. He loved spoiling his grand kids. He would always hand out $5.00 to each grandchild when they leave so they can have spending money.
Christmas for us means going home to Chicago, seeing family from out of town, heading up a caravan to drive out to the cemetery to visit my dad. When you count in-laws and grand kids, that’s about 40 people!
My dad would be proud to see how many grandchildren he currently has and how he is still missed and loved by his family.
